Providing Residential Wi-Fi Network Support, Smart Home Installation ,Network Wiring, & IT Support since 2017! We make your technology work for you!
What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Unless I have a packaged deal, my billable hourly rate is $135/hr for the 1st hour and then it breaks down into 15 minute increments thereafter.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
When I work with new customers I like to learn the challenges you are facing and what you would like the end result to be after work is performed. Once I gather your needs I can put together a solution that will address your needs and provide a solid foundation for you to add any Smart Home devices without worries.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have over 20 years of IT experience & integrating electronics into residential and business environments. I have seen many complex situations and have a knack for simplifying networks and making them easy to maintain after installation.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I have always been into tech every since I was a kid. I have always been the family tech "go-to" guy and have learned quite a bit from my own projects, family projects, and clients projects. I have worked tirelessly on my own networks and originally started working for my extended family to improve their networks and install cameras, doorbells, alarms, etc.
What types of customers have you worked with?
I have worked with customers large and small. I have worked with many residential customers as well as small to mid-size businesses. IT is critical for us as individuals as well as business owners. No IT or tech issue is too small.
Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
I recently helped a customer setup his new mancave with a large TV, Sonos immersive audio, smart deadbolts, whole-home Wi-Fi, and smart cameras.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
I would recommend looking for a company who is flexible to work with and is not specialized in one type of tech. The more well rounded and "seasoned" a tech installer / IT professional is the more situations they have seen and can resolve your issues more rapidly with a greater outcome.
What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
How long have you been in this line of work and what issues have you run into in the past on other projects? What issues could derail a project to take more time and cost more in the long run? Are you set on one equipment vendor or are you open to using any of them? Can the customer procure the equipment or does it need to be purchased from the installer? Do you know how to fix Wi-Fi dead spots?
